The expansion of GSBC Serekunda
By the grace of God pastor Arnest B. Jassey started the first Reformed Baptist church in The Gambia GSBC in the year 2016 under a mango tree in Serekunda.
This space was given to him by a family member. From there they moved into a small store of 2 by 2 meters in the same compound.
In 2018 the church was able to renovate and expand an old building in the same compound and changed it into a church building.
To this day, Grace Strict Baptist Church is still renting in this family compound in Serekunda.
Meet Christopher, Daniel and Leopaul; our three student pastors studying at the Reformed Theological College in Nigeria, whom the Lord has called to be preachers of the Word.
During their summer break they all return to The Gambia and assist pastor Arnest during the Sunday worship services and the Bible studies on Wednesdays. Lord willing, they will complete their studies in Nigeria in May 2026.
